Ireland - Offsite
By this point, the worst of my symptoms were manageable with medication (with mostly an occasional cough and mild headache left).

The rest of my trip was part of a work offsite, where I would get to spend time with my colleagues, many of which I work with everyday, but only get to see once a year, it's one of my favourite parts of the year.

During the day, we intensively planned the upcoming year and each night we had a different social activity, including a mini-pub crawl with two local musicians
and a scavenger hunt where we split up into teams and solved puzzles around the city centre. Our team got third place! (out of three teams)

The last evening, some of us stayed around and visited a swanky rooftop bar,

a whisky bar, where I got to try some peated Irish whiskies (very gentle compared to the peated Scottish whiskies that I learn towards.)

and even got to check out some performers as part of Irish Music Week
Sarah Crean mentioned that had just performed in Toronto before this
Dave Lofts' songs provided the perfect mood for the end of the trip
I really appreciated the one on one conversations I got to have with some of my colleagues this time around, and the small conversations that I've been having this entire trip has been my favourite recurring theme. Looking forward to the next time I see them all again. Sláinte!
